Over the last couple of days we have been riding with James, Alaina and Sam the baby. Yesterday they met up their dad John and he gave us some good trail advice. So this morning we got up and as we were at elevation it was a tad nippy until the sun came out. We said goodbye to another riding buddy and his BOB trailer.

We said bye to John and family, but we knew we would bump into them later as we were taking his advice and we were going to stop at a little village called Naramata. As we left site we saw the most amazing views

A little later we came to the 18 wooden trestle bridges we had to cross, it looked so spectacular.

A little after the bridges we made it to Chute Lake. There is a lodge there that served the most amazing food. We had iced coffee, a main and finished with scrummy apple doughnuts served with ice cream and whip, all homemade.

James and the gang came around to the lodge not long after we had finished our food and second coffee. John gave us the final instructions to find the site at Naramata. As you can see there was a funky chair to grab a photo.
When we got to the site we did laundry chilled out outside the tent and then went down to the beach to make our tea. The beach was amazing and I just had to jump in again. The water was the perfect temperature.

We got back to the site and caught the last few songs of a free concert and it was the perfect atmosphere as the sun was going down. We had a quick chat with James and Alaina and made arrangements to say our goodbyes tomorrow morning before we have breakfast on the beach.
